Bring your classroom outdoors! Spark curiosity and explore hands-on experiential learning opportunities with horses in our equine-assisted learning program.

We enjoy connecting with the community through equine-assisted learning field trips in our fun outdoor learning environment. At our facility in Makawao, we welcome groups like:

Haku Baldwin Center will create a unique experience tailored to meet the needs of each group on our 33+ acre property with our herd of exceptional horses. Groups may bring their own snacks or lunch to enjoy in our picnic area.

Field trips are 1 hour (+ 30 minutes to enjoy lunch on-site; optional)

All visits are by appointment only and are scheduled around our facility calendar. Please apply at least 2-3 weeks ahead of your requested visit date. We cannot accommodate last-minute requests. We need time to make sure your visit is a special and memorable one. If you are visiting Maui and have questions, drop us a note before your trip.

Horseback riding is not included. All activities are unmounted.

with a minimum of $75 per group
