Haku Baldwin Center is one of Maui’s largest operating equestrian centers, located in Makawao. In addition to being a nonprofit equine-assisted services program serving children, youth, and adults, the facility supports a full range of daily equestrian operations, including horse boarding and professional barn management.
Our team maintains high standards of horse care, facility upkeep, and program delivery across a busy and well-established property. Staff work closely together to ensure the horses, participants, and boarders are supported in a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.

Equine & Facility Caretaker
Haku Baldwin Center – Makawao, HI
Haku Baldwin Center is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and independent individual to join our team.
Available shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
This is an outdoor position working hands-on with horses in a well-maintained, professional facility. We are seeking someone experienced, responsible, and confident in daily horse care.
Responsibilities include:
• General horse care
• Feeding
• Mucking stalls and paddocks
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and beautiful barn and facility
• Assisting with daily barn operations as needed
Requirements:
• Solid knowledge of horses and horse care
• Ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
This is a full-time position with benefits.
Hourly pay starts at $17.50, with the possibility of higher pay after the probation period, depending on experience.
