Financial Support for Families in Need

At Haku Baldwin Center, we believe everyone deserves access to healing. Thanks to our generous donors and community partners, we offer scholarships to families and individuals who would not otherwise be able to participate in our programs.

Scholarships help cover the cost of therapeutic lessons, with approved applicants paying a nominal fee.

  • Deadline:

    Apply at least 15 days before your first lesson

  • Tuition:

    Participants pay 20% of cost

  • Docs Required:

    Income tax return, ID, proof of income

  • Lesson Fee:

    $75/hour or $60/half-hour

  • Testimonial Required:

    To maintain future eligibility

What You Receive as a Sponsor

Who Can Apply?

Scholarships are available to individuals who have already submitted a Participant Application and have been approved for lessons. New applicants must also submit a physician referral.

Note: Scholarships are limited and awarded based on financial need, program availability, and application completeness.

How to Apply?

  1. Complete the Scholarship Application Form

  2. Upload required supporting documents

  3. Await confirmation email

  4. Committee reviews your application

  5. Receive award decision via email

  6. Submit your minimum payment at least 7 days before your first lesson

Documents You’ll Need to Upload

**All personal information is kept strictly confidential. If you have trouble uploading, please reach out.

New Participants:

  • IRS Tax Return (1st page)

  • Current Photo ID

  • Proof of Income (W2)

  • Proof of Residency (if needed)

  • Participant Number from welcome email

Existing Participants:

  • IRS Tax Return (1st page)

  • Current Photo ID

  • Proof of Income

Current Lesson Fees

  • $75 per 55–60 minute lesson → Scholarship rate: $15

  • $60 per 30–35 minute lesson → Scholarship rate: $12

Note: Fees are due 7 days before the first lesson. Payment accepted by check, cash, or Zelle.

Participant Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time and attend all lessons

  • Avoid cancellations within 24 hours

  • Submit a testimonial after each session

Failure to meet these expectations may result in loss of scholarship eligibility.
